MSA Holds Handing Over Ceremony for Incoming Executive Board

The Medical Students’ Association (MSA) successfully held its official handing over ceremony on Friday, 19 December 2025, at the H.S. Amonoo-Kuofie Medical Village. The event marked the formal conclusion of the tenure of the outgoing executive board and the assumption of office by the newly elected executives.

Members of the Association gathered to acknowledge the work of the outgoing administration and to formally inaugurate the new leadership entrusted with steering MSA into the next academic year.

Review of the Outgoing Administration

During the ceremony, the outgoing President, Hon. Aaron Denkyi Ankomah, presented a concise overview of the administration’s work and key milestones achieved over the year. The focus of the presentation was on initiatives that delivered tangible benefits to medical students and strengthened the Association’s institutional capacity.

The achievements of the administration may be broadly grouped into three areas:

Swearing-In of the New Executive Board

The central feature of the event was the formal swearing-in of the incoming executive board. Following the administration of the oath of office, outgoing executives officially handed over documents and responsibilities to their successors, symbolizing continuity, accountability, and service.

  • Vice President: Hon. Ewuradjoa Netisfulwa Essien (Level 400)
  • General Secretary: Hon. Jewel Amponsah-Donkor (Level 400)
  • Financial Secretary: Hon. Shadrack Attaborah (Level 400)
  • Organising Secretary: Hon. Sheila Amoako Adusei (Level 400)
  • Public Relations Officer: Hon. Angelina Makafui Afi Agbebioku (Level 400)
  • Health Officer: Hon. Francis Yawson (Level 400)
  • Projects Officer: Hon. Lambert Amekuedi (Level 400)
  • Exchange Officer: Hon. Isaac Duker

With the inauguration of the new executive board, the Association enters a new phase of leadership anchored in continuity and responsibility.
